Spring was only just starting to show and were rewarded with a lovely blend of winter views whilst the meadows were starting to flower. Be prepared for the first few kilometers as there were a few steep, narrow sections through the woods.

We saw a small avalanche coming down from Brünnelistock as we sat to eat a packed lunch at Stäfeli. We decided not to follow our planned route, giving the base of the mountain a little more space!
